About Us

The University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation plays a vital role in ensuring that many of the most critical components of world-class cardiac care are available. We raise funds for much needed equipment, facilities, programs, research and education at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.

The new Heart Institute’s state-of-the-art Clinical Tower opened in April 2018, bringing the next frontier of cardiac care excellence to Ottawa. Healthcare institutions like the Heart Institute do not receive funding for the purchase of critical and highly specialized equipment.
