The University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation is an independent organization connecting communities to the work of the Heart Institute by developing channels for fundraising and philanthropic support. Inspired, motivated and driven by the objectives of the Heart institute, the Foundation is managed and run through its own board of directors and staff.
Volunteers: The Hands and Hearts of Our Foundation
Every year volunteers donate irreplaceable talents and thousands of hours to create successful fundraising initiatives, working side-by-side with our staff. At every step, our Foundation maximizes the impact of this effort by keeping administration costs low so that more of each donation gets invested in research, education and patient care.
