I’m proud to be fundraising with my amazing team, The BARBELLES, in support of the Ottawa Heart Institute by participating in JUMP In.

Just one year ago, my 18-year-old son spent four days at the Heart Institute with a scary case of myopericarditis. Chest pain is the last thing you expect in a healthy, active teen, but thanks to the incredible care and compassion of the staff, he recovered quickly and was able to return to Halifax for university as planned. Six months later he received a clean bill of health, and we’re deeply grateful to have put that chapter behind us.
